Quick Apply Full-time 44 minutes ago Full Job Description Velocity Chiropractic & Sports Rehab, a dynamic multi-disciplinary practice, is looking for an experienced or newly graduated, hard-working Certified Athletic Trainer to join their growing Monmouth County practice! Across our multiple locations Certified Athletic Trainers are integral and respected members of our team.
The Athletic Trainer at Velocity will work in coordination with other athletic trainers, chiropractors & physical therapists.
The Athletic Trainer will assist in establishing and administering treatment programs with specific goals according to the patient's ability and tolerance under the direction of the Physician.
The Athletic Trainer must set realistic and achievable goals for their patients, document and record the patient's condition, and educate patients and families.
Requirements include:
Must have graduated from an accredited school.
Current state license as a Certified Athletic Trainer or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Certified Athletic Trainer.
Current CPR certification.
Assist in developing a plan of care for each patient.
Provide skilled athletic training services / interventions in accordance with physician orders.
Assess patient needs, plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of therapeutic interventions.
Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
Concussion evaluation/baseline testing, collaborating with clinicians regarding the care of post concussion syndrome patients Outgoing personality Willingness to challenge patients, healthcare providers, and yourself!
