Summary:
Identity & Access Management (IAM) solution Security Architect reports to the IAM director in a hands-on role focused on the security architecture in the IAM space supporting IAM program.
The architect works directly with Lead Development, Engineering and Operational resources through collaboration and mentoring to shape the IAM capabilities for RWJBH.
The IAM Architect s role is a technical position which will support the development of security strategies and architecture vision as it relates to the organization s initiatives, specifically setting the direction for IAM architecture.
The IAM Architect will work with other Architects and Service Owners to provide a consensus-based enterprise solution that is scalable, adaptable and synchronized with the ever-changing business needs.
Responsibilities:
1)Technical Expertise:
Develop effective architecture solutions that not only satisfy immediate project requirements but also deliver a coherent, reusable, reliable and phased architecture to help the business grow and change while aligning to strategic vision.
Subject-matter expertise across all IAM topics as it relates to both cloud and on-premises enterprise technology, and the relationship between the architectures.
Manage the successful technical delivery of Information Security projects and services for our customers by working directly with key business stakeholders, executives and project teams.
Deliver technical security configuration architecture expertise in implementing cross-organizational information sharing.
Develop solutions and recommendations for issues caused by process challenges, emerging threats, and technology changes.
Review and management of technical security roadmaps related to cloud security and IAM within a cloud security context.
2) Leadership and Project Management:
Security architects are often the technical lead on initiatives and as such must drive the vision and alignment of the solution delivery.
Drive the adoption of Authentication and Authorization reference architectures for existing, new and emerging IAM technologies.
Drive the adoption of creative solutions to address complex IAM problems.
Participate in Identity and Access Management enterprise governance processes and drive IAM standards adoption.
Learn new skills and concepts, update and refresh knowledge base through training, webinars and reading articles.
3)Operations:
Develop reports, create or edit documentation as requested Create, maintain, and align the organization s Information Security policies and standards with industry best practices and business needs in the adoption of cloud services and technologies.
Represent Information Security on organizational project teams and ensure adherence to existing security policies and standards.
Provide assistance and support as needed to address incidents or issues identified within the organization.
Education:
Bachelor s degree or better in computer science or a related field Five years of experience in IAM or a related field At least three years of experience in a IAM architect role Experience in IT security or associated field Strong technical skills, including experience SailPoint IIQ, IDN, OKTA
Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of design and deployment of technology and solutions in Identity and Access Management including governance, authentication, and credentialing models Ability to manage or support IAM systems in complex environments including operationalization, monitoring and process refinement.
Experience with enterprise architecture and working as part of a cross-functional team to implement solutions.
Knowledge of Cloud technologies IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.
Strong understanding of authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, Kerberos, SAML, OpenID) Knowledge LDAP and Active Directory architecture and least privilege design.
Experience with programming languages, such as Python, Java, and PowerShell Familiarity with best practices and compliance standards.
Experience with SQL databases Strong project management skills.
Firm understanding of authentication and authorization technologies and protocols Other Duties:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
